Fast National ratings for Friday, January 12, 2007. A typically consistent performance by CBS' dramas led the network to a ratings win Friday night. |
CBS averaged a 7.0 rating/12 share for the night, beating out NBC, 5.8/10, for the top spot. ABC finished third at 4.1/7. FOX came in fourth with a 3.1/5, and The CW trailed with a 2.6/4. Among adults 18-49, CBS' 2.9 rating was good for the top spot. NBC was not far behind at 2.7. FOX, 2.1, grabbed third in the demographic, followed by ABC, 2.0, and The CW, 1.3. "Ghost Whisperer" started things for CBS with a 6.7/11 at 8 p.m. NBC's "1 vs. 100" drew a 5.8/10 for second. A "Grey's Anatomy" rerun, 3.8/6, put ABC in third, ahead of FOX's "Nanny 911." The first hour of "Friday Night Smackdown!" on The CW earned a 2.5/4. CBS held the lead at 9 p.m. with "Close to Home," 6.9/11. "Las Vegas" rolled a 5.5/9 for NBC. ABC's "Desperate House wives" repeat tied FOX's "Trading Spouses" for third in households at 3.2/5, but FOX had a few more total viewers. "Smackdown!" ticked up slightly in its second hour. |
At 10 p.m., CBS' "Numb3rs" posted the night's best rating, 7.3/13. "Law & Order," 6.2/11, was second for NBC, and "20/20" delivered a 5.4/9 for ABC.
