LOS ANGELES, CA --- Fast National ratings for Friday, February 3, 2006 Once again, the overall consistency of CBS' lineup was able to overcome ABC and "Dancing with the Stars" in Friday's ratings. NBC also had a decent night among younger viewers. CBS won the night by averaging a 7.8 rating/13 share, with ABC in second at 7.0/12. NBC, 5.9/10, came in third in households. FOX was fourth at 2.8/5, edging UPN's 2.7/4. The WB trailed with a 1.8/3. |
NBC snagged the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 3.3 rating, narrowly beating CBS' 3.2 and ABC's 3.0. FOX took fourth in the demographic with a 1.8. UPN averaged 1.6 and The WB 1.1. The "Dancing with the Stars" results show won the 8 p.m. hour with a 10.2/17, the night's highest rating. CBS took second with "Ghost Whisperer," 7.2/13. NBC's "Most Outrageous Moments" was third. "Friday Night Smackdown!" drew a 2.5/4 for UPN, beating out an hour of "The Bernie Mac Show," 2.3/4, on FOX. The WB went with "What I Like About You" and "Living with Fran." CBS took the lead at 9 p.m. with "Close to Home," 7.7/13. NBC moved up to second with the first half of a two-hour "Dateline," 6.4/11. "In Justice" delivered a 5.7/10 for ABC. FOX moved into fourth with "Trading Spouses," 3.3/6, while the second hour of "Smackdown!" dropped to fifth. The WB's "Reba" and "Twins" remained in sixth. |
"Numb3rs" kept CBS on top at 10 p.m. with an 8.5/15. "Dateline" improved to 7.2/12 in its second hour, and ABC's "20/20" averaged 5.0/9.
