LOS ANGELES,CA - Fast National ratings for Friday, Oct. 7, 2005 CBS won every hour of primetime Friday as it coasted to the night's top spot for the third week in a row. The Eye network averaged a 6.6 rating/11 share for the evening, beating NBC, 4.8/8, by a sizable margin. ABC took third with a 4.6/8, and FOX came in fourth at 2.8/5. UPN, 2.6/4, was fifth, beating The WB, 1.7/3. CBS also led among adults 18-49 with a 2.8 rating. ABC, 2.3, was second in the demographic, beating out NBC's 2.1. FOX averaged 1.6, UPN 1.5 and The WB 1.1. |

at 8 p.m. The first half of a two-hour "Three
Wishes" scored a 4.2/7 for NBC, edging
"Supernanny" on ABC. "The Bernie Mac
Show," 2.5/5, and "Malcolm in the Middle,"
2.2/4, finished in a virtual tie for fourth with
"Friday Night Smackdown!" on UPN. "What I
Like About You" and "Twins" averaged 1.6/3
for The WB. CBS stayed in front at 9 p.m. with "Threshold," 5.4/9, although "Three Wishes," 5.1/9, closed the gap between first and second. "Hope & Faith," 3.9/7, and the premiere of "Hot Properties," 4.2/7, kept ABC in third. "Killer Instinct" posted a 3.2/6 as FOX took sole possession of fourth. The second hour of "Smackdown!" was fifth for UPN. The WB trailed with "Reba" and "Living with Fran." "Numb3rs" drew a 7.1/13 at 10 p.m. to complete the CBS sweep. ABC got a 5.9/11 from "20/20," while a repeat of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged 5.1/9 for NBC. |
