Moooooooon River!...... |
| Anyone who saw Jennifer Love Hewitt
glammed up in her little black, backless dress at the MTV
Movie Awards couldn't help but think of the glamour of a
bygone era of Hollywood. Now it appears that was just the
look she was going for. The teen star of Party of Five is preparing to take on a big-screen legend, inking a deal to star as Oscar-winning actress Audrey Hepburn in a two-hour ABC movie in development for next season. According to Variety, Hewitt is such as huge fan of the late Sabrina star that she jumped on board the project even though there is still no script or director. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Marsha Norman (Night, Mother) is penning the still-untitled biopic. Of course, it's a long way from Gregory Peck and the charms of Roman Holiday to the gore-fest that is I Know What You Did Last Summer, and it remains to be seen whether Hewitt is mature enough to carry off the grace and class of Hepburn.
